The MA seminar, consisted of two semesters is aimed at preparing the MA thesis in English by students and is based on work with the supervisor as well as own work. The first semester is about the preliminary work. The second semester is about preparing the subsequent chapters of the thesis.

The MA seminar, consisted of two semesters is aimed at preparing the MA thesis in English by students and is based on work with the supervisor as well as own work. The first semester is about: preliminary work - preparing the title and stricture (general and detailed) of a thesis, research design, methodological and theoretical part of the thesis as well as developing the practical knowledge about the use of sources and preparing the technical side of the thesis. The second semester is about preparing the subsequent chapters of the thesis. The prepared text is a subject of discussions with a supervisor. A student follows the suggestions and corrections of the supervisor, preparing the final version of the given chapter.

Literature is pointed out by lecturer according to students' needs and topics of theses.

Main learning effect:

The student has the thorough skills of storage, hierarchizing and processing the information as well as preparing a written thesis in English concerning the detailed issues with the use of theoretical and methodological approaches as well as diverse sources (KU11).
