(tylko po angielsku) The goal of the workshop is that students acquire skills useful in applying for funding of their academic projects. Most of the following aspects will be covered: choosing a suitable topic finding research partners/collaborators finding and choosing the appropriate granting body and program assessing the time required to prepare the application preparing the documents (detailed description of the project, short description of the project, budget, CV/resume/summary of relevant achievements…) going through an interview reporting To put this knowledge into practice, participants will be required to hand in a partial draft of a grant application of their choice to be assessed by the lecturer and their colleagues. |

(tylko po angielsku) Student: knows institutions funding research in Poland and internationally knows and understands the basic concepts related to the preparation of a project application, is capable of critical analysis and evaluation of the results of scientific research and its contribution to the development of knowledge, can disseminate the results of research activity, also in popular forms, can plan and carry out individual and collaborative research, is ready to critically evaluate own contribution to the development of a given scientific or artistic discipline. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) It will be composed of 4 meetings (2 h each). The students are required to attend at least three of them. Student are expected to take an active part in the classes as well as write or present a partial draft of a grant proposal. Assessment of the submitted/presented proposal. Pass without a grade |
