  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

Skrócony opis:

1. The main aim of the seminar is to familiarize students with the broadly understood issues of the concept of development defined by the term sustainable development - which is expressed in Polish as a sustainable and sustainable development. The ultimate goal of the seminar is to specify and develop the research topics of the work being prepared.

2. The subject of seminar meetings includes the following groups of issues: introduction to sustainable management issues, principles and methods for implementation of sustainable development, indicators of permanent development, conditions of permanent development policy at the local, national and international level, methods of economic valuation of goods and services derived from the environment, ecological and economic efficiency in the management of natural resources.

- durability of the biosphere,

- durability of business and development.

- shaping the sustainable develoment strategy.

3/4. Indicators of permanent development:

- typology of indicators,

- the role of indicators in the area of sustainable development,

7/8. Implementation of the policy of sustainable and sustainable development:

- international level,

- European Union,

- national level,

- local level.

9/10. Economic valuation methods:

- review of economic valuation methods and their discussion,

- basic problems related to economic valuation,

- application of a valuation to cultural goods,

- application of valuation to tourist areas of high nature value,

- presentation of the results of practical research related to the valuation.

11/12. Effectiveness in managing the resources of the natural environment:

- ecological efficiency,

- economic efficiency.

13/14/15. Meetings dedicated to student presentations of progress in shaping and writing a master's thesis.

- the specificity of the local community approach,

- cross-sectional indicators,

- synthetic indicators.

5. Measures of permanent development expressed in value:

- presentation of aggregate indicators,

- typology of single-number indices,

- Genuine Savings,

- ISEW and GPI.

6. Permanent development measures expressed in physical units:

- characteristics of meters in physical units,

- Ecological Footprint,

- HANPP.

1. The student knows the concept and strategy for sustainable and sustainable development, with particular emphasis on the conditions of biosphere sustainability, sustainability of economic activity and sustainability of socio-economic development.

2. The student knows indicators of sustainable and sustainable development and their role in the implementation of this development concept. He knows the specificity of the indicator approach on local communities, as well as cross-cutting indicators and synthetic indicators.

3. The student has knowledge about synthetic indicators of sustainable development expressed in value: Genuine Savings, ISEW and GPI. He knows the modifications of national accounts towards an integrated system of economic and environmental accounts.

4. The student knows synthetic measures of permanent development expressed in physical units: Ecological Footprint, HANPP, measures of material flow intensity

derived from the MIPS concept and the balance of material flows.

5. The student knows and understands the problems associated with the practical implementation of the policy of sustainable and sustainable development at the local, national, European Union level, in the global dimension.

6. The student knows the methods of economic valuation, and in particular the method of conditional valuation, the method of travel cost, the hedonic pricing method. He knows and understands the possibilities of using these methods for the valuation of cultural goods and, above all, for the valuation of non-market goods and services of the natural environment.

7. The student knows the problem of ecological efficiency and economic efficiency in managing the resources of the natural environment. He knows the relationship between reducing pressure on the environment and reducing the intensity of exploitation of its resources and the sustainability of socio-economic development.

B. Skills

1. The student is able to critically analyze the received materials and studies, which he supplements with his own readings and then refer to the seminar with understanding.

2. The student is able to formulate an interesting research problem and hypotheses that require verification based on advice and suggestions.

3. The student is able to link the previously acquired knowledge during the studies in order to use them in the designed and written BA thesis / MA thesis.

C. Social competences

1. The student is aware that the work to be written must be the result of an independent research effort that meets the formal and substantive requirements of the master's thesis.

2. The student is able to communicate the results of his research work and shape the topic of his work in a way that allows one of the real problems arising from the practical implementation of the recommendations for a sustainable and sustainable development strategy.

Metody i kryteria oceniania:

Credit conditions for the course: attendance, presentation of selected papers and lectures on the subject of the thesis, presentation of the hypotheses and research plan of the future master's thesis, presentation of the first version of the thesis in the last semester
